Two cultural events at Hudson Valley Community College were highlighted in the Times Union’s Preview section on Thursday, Nov. 8.
Thursday’s concert by Thomasina Winslow, acoustic blues guitarist, was among the “Picks of the Week.” The concert was presented by the Cultural Affairs Program.
The eighth annual Pride of Our Nation… Pride of Our College exhibition, opening Saturday, Nov. 10, honoring current and past U.S. Armed Forces personnel was listed in the Preview’s cover story about events that commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. The exhibit, coordinated by Associate Professor Alice Malavasic, features military photographs and artifacts loaned by faculty, staff and students and is on view through Dec. 7 in the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Atrium in the Marvin Library Learning Commons.
